(Just Another Worm Artificial)
The name says it all really with the JAWA. A weighted earthworm representation that does well in coloured water when contact nymphing, under a dry or indicator, or even just as a lightly weighted pattern. The JAWA is also worth trying when chasing Carp.
The smooth profile lets this fly sink pretty quick, even for it’s weight . Tied on #10 and #12; these are about the same as a 2.5-2.8mm bead, so keep your tippet as fine as possible.
